You'll be spending about an afternoon's worth of time learning all there is to know about nomenclature for a university level introductory organic chemistry course.
All of the information contained in this study guide comes from the IUPAC book, Nomenclature of Organic Chemistry. IUPAC Recommendations and Preferred Names 2013. (However, it's just a very small subset of the nomenclature rules contained in that book!) IUPAC stands for the International Union of Pure and Applied Chemistry, and they are the ones who make sure that chemists all around the world understand each other when naming and drawing molecules.
